Everything you can do in the XBox 360 dashboard you can do on a PS3. Also PS3 online is free, it supports any blue tooth headset for voice chat or you can attach a usb headset like I do. PS3 doesn't have a well established message system yet. At this time it works like e-mail. Spring of 08 is when they will be releasing there new interface. I was thinking ... an Elite is a waste of money when you consider what you get when you buy a PS3. The Elite should at least come with a HD-DVD drive or something, no way that price can justify a larger hard drive and different color. There are so many awesome design choices Sony made, like the fact the controllers dont take batteries. You simply attach it to a usb every now and then to charge it, I usually do it while I'm watching a movie. Also the PS3 internet browser is amazing if you have a nice HDTV. Im rambling ...
