I agree! In this particular case...nobody in there right mind would pick the "GT40" for reasons mentioned above, but the problem with allowing known glitch cars to participate leaves the door open for other problematic cars later on down the road. That being said, we've never had a problem with members using exploits in the past and I seriously doubt that any of us would knowingly do so, but it seems to make good sense to disqualify the use of any known glitches. My two cents.
