The game (demo) is pretty fun. The lag issues are typical EA greedy, money grubbin, self centered, egotistcal crap that spews from EA. I've boycotted EA since 2001. I see they aren't missing my money. In May 2008, the company reported net annual revenue of US$4.02 billion in fiscal year 2008.

Yeah I joined up with Tree for some Recon. It was clean. I like the Sniper Rifle and scope setup. With the lag it was hard to hit people but I do like the time delay on the bullet when your shooting across the map. BF2 was one of my favorites on PC and this one looks like it will add up nicely. I didn't like the no laying down feature. Maybe they will hook that up in the full version. Either way this is next on my rental list!

Ya, and I doubt Ubi$oft will miss mine either...but if more people stopped settling for bullshit software they'd be forced to do things right!

It seems like we are all beta testers now. Everything from an OS to a video game.

I would agree with that statement if the bugs found in demos didn't make it to the full version, but that rarely seems to be the case.

That's what demos are for, to stress test their networks to make sure everything is fine for the launch. It's basically an open beta.

I somewhat agree, beta testing is fixing bugs. Demos a load testing servers plus beta testing multiplayer issues. But, what about Vista or XP? It's taken M$ almost 7 years to work the bugs out of XP with the release of service pack 3 (4/21/08). Then they release the (P)OS Vista. Not to mention the incompatibility issues with Vista as well. The rich keep getting richer.
