I am highly pleased with Gamestop. First time I ever pre-ordered a game and it was Bad Company. It said it would ship on 6/23, to get it here when the game is released. But today is the 23rd, and the game is here. The UPS guy must even be a gamer, told my wife he did not want to leave it outside, cause it was a game, and he is terrified of our little dogs.
Anyway, going to play some single player tonight and see what else is offered in multiplayer. Will report back later
Depending on where you are in the country, you get it at different times. I know that when I was in AZ they had it the day it was shipped everytime. I always pre-order with Gamestop. So yeah i'm always happy with Gamestop

Well single player starts you off just before the demo single player. Maybe I am getting better at these games, but usually I start on normal. Easy being to easy, veteran or hard being a bit frustrating that I don't really enjoy all the little things of the game. But played for a few hours on single player on normal, and for me it seemed a bit easy. Of course having the go juice really helps. You can really give yourself an injection and be back on the gun in just a couple of seconds, if not faster. As I said you start a couple of shootings before the demo, work back through that. I have entered into a town now and have just completed the battle there. I went to multiplayer, looks like the gold crate game is the only one offered, no team deathmatch or free for all. But I think there were 10 maps total. Overall I really enjoyed the game, but think I will start over on Hard, and see how I fair there.
I looked over the achievements. Be sure to knock down all the walls and trees you can. There are some achievements for that. As well as an achievement for 10002 kills. Most have to be completed on multi player, though there are plenty on single player as well. A total of 50 awards.
That's one of the things I was worried about with this game. One mode only seems kind of old school to me. I like to be able to do different things. Team deth match being one of my favorites.
The ticker at the top of the menu says they are going to put out the Conquest game mode for free pretty soon. Conquest was always fun in 1942 so it should be good in BC.
