My thoughts so far..........

Hmm, I think someone had their expectations too high? This is the most critically acclaimed games since Half Life or Halo and you say its decent. To each his own, your opinion is greatly appreciated though. I've only played a good 2hrs, but I'm loving it so far. Very unique story, I love exploring the detailed worlds, listening to the recorders unfold the story and watching the characters interact.

I finished the game and I thought it was great. I am not going to spoil it for those who haven't finished it. But I will say the game gets kinda slow in the middle but really picks up toward the end with an action packed conclusion.

Great game in all.

Just to put in my two cents on a 3 month old thread.
I started the game and at first was very interested by the story line. I played up till I had to fight my first big daddy. Got my ass kicked and realized I need a fresh set of eyes tomorrow. But the graphics are very nice. The water looks great. The art deco interiors are very well done. I'm enjoying the idea of using my DNA to shoot fire. Different. Very different story line.

I beat this a couple months ago and forgot to comment. I loved this game, I thought the story and game play was awesome. You won't find a similar story anywhere else.
