Default COD4, for both PS3 and Xbox 360

Well, guys, it finally happened to me last night. I was online with a few you guys, playing COD, when I started having some lock up problems. Well, got the Red Ring of Death.

So loaded up my wife, and drove to Wal-Mart with the intention of getting COD4 for the PS3, And I did, but little did I know, my wife went ahead and bought another Xbox360 while we were there. For some reason she was under the impression I would not be happy waiting for MS to fix it. She is a wonderful person.

Ok, back on subject. On single player, the game is the same, just have to get use to the different controller. Give the Xbox the edge here, with the more trigger like buttons, it feels more natural. Plus the PS uses the little bumpers at the top on front as the trigger, and the bigger lower bumpers to throw gernades. Needless to say I was throwing lots of gernades, when I should of been shooting. I really think the PS3 does get the edge graphically, though it is pretty close. Of course I really miss my acheivements!!!!

Online, once I get in a game, is pretty much just like the Xbox, except hardly anyone uses a microphone on Sony's network.(I have experience this with other games on the PS that I have played online.) On the one hand, no listening to kids and adults cussing and making noise just cause they can, but pretty hard to warn your teammates of coming danger.

Now for some reason actually connecting to a match takes forever. I am wondering if there is something I need to do. I literally have to wait 10 to 15 minutes for I am placed in a room. I have fixed a sandwich, put in a load of clothes, and still won't be placed in a room yet. It can't be widespread or no one would play this game online. And I never had a problem with any other game, getting online.

Anyone have any other ideas.

Great game on both systems. (maybe I will get a used copy for the Wii and try that as well. )

Wow...I can deal with no mic. That's how I play free-for-all anyway, but waiting 10 minutes doesn't sound like much fun.
