If you read the xbox forums under COD:4 a lot of people are having problems with this game being hard on their box. If you listen it makes a ton of noise when accessing the data from the disc. One of the people I play a lot of COD with, his xbox got 3 red lights yesterday from this game.

I agree Loon, the single player was amazing. I loved when you had to crawl through the bushes and not get caught. Also the AC-130 was awesome, those guys didn't even know what hit em'. I think I'm going to try to go back through on Vet. to see how far I can get.

I normally stay away from playing the general public, mostly because I can't stand all the trash talk...but I've been having a good time with this game online. Great game!

Level 17 is where it's at! Why, because that when you get the "Martyrdom" perk (drop a live grenade when killed). I hated it before I got it , but I love it now...

still figuring out all the class set up and perks. I am sure I am not taking advantage of what I have. I have killed a few with the drop the gernade perk. When do you get the ability to call in airstrikes? I have noticed that is when guys really get some kills.

3 kills in a row during a match unlocks radar.
5 kills in a row during a match unlocks air strikes.
? kills in a row during a match unlocks crazy helicopter shit!

The Radar (UAV), Air Strike and Helicopter are not perks.
  1. You get the UAV after killing 3 in a row without dying. It only lasts about 30 seconds, but during that time you can see the location of player in the game (unless they have a UAV jammer).
  2. You get the Air Strike after killing 5 in a row without dying. When you activate it you can choose the area of the map you want bombed, so obviously a UAV is a big help when calling in air strikes.
  3. You get the Helicopter after killing 7 in a row without dying. You don't tell it where to go, it simply flies around shooting at everyone it sees until it's either shot down or the time runs out.
All three of these things are activated by pressing right on your directional pad.
