That's it? Come on Brad, you can do better then that!

Here's the deal. It's certainly no secret that the 360 is/was a turd product, but Microsoft is to my knowledge still replacing free of charge all xboxs that die and display 3 red lights. Also, if I'm not mistaken they're still providing a 3 year warranty...so you see your reasoning doesn't carry a lot of weight these days.

Ok so i buy something, use it, it breaks, i have to send it in, wait 2-3 weeks to get it back just to get one back that will probably break sooner than the original, not to mention the one I'm getting back is one that broke previously and then repeat the process? Not my type of product. if I'm spending 300+ on a home entertainment system i want to trust it will work for a long time and not just wait for it to break. Maybe when the new model comes out I'll consider getting it. Believe me I want to buy an American product but products like the 360 is an example why we are losing our manufacturing ability to other countries just like the auto industry did in the early 90s.

no concrete figures here, but the new Xbox's are not having the issues the older ones did. So maybe it is time. But if u don't, be sure to give Resistance2 a good hard look.

oh, and I just sent my first 360 in. One week turn around. The second one we got(when the first died) runs cooler and quieter. Have not had any issues like locking up or anything with this version. But still carries the 3 year Red Ring of Death warranty.

But still, maybe waiting on the next gen would be the wise thing to do.

The best part is you don't have to worry about Fred killing you unless you happen to be near him when he commits suicide.

Hope so. I applied, so I guess we'll see.

I did watch a live video feed earlier today. Looked pretty good.
