HOLY CRAP IT WORKED. I put in RB6 Vegas. Toss out smoke, used the chain gun, and got killed 4 times. So far, so good. Now to run this thing all day.

Insane or not, it worked. I played xbox all evening, games like RB6 Vegas, and Command & Conquer. I even got a new video and played that. Now this morning I got up, turned on my 360, and nothing. No Red lights, but it would not load a game. So, if I have to keep this up till I buy a new system, well thats ok by me. Oh, I did get my coffin today. So until I get the red lights of doom again, I'll be beating the hell out of the system.

I had a feeling it wouldn't last long. As soon as your motherboard cooled, it likely pulled away from the processor again.

At any rate, Microsoft pays for UPS 3 day shipping. So you're looking at 3 days to get it there and 3 days to get it back, plus a couple of days in between...probably about 10 days total.

Either way, I'm going out on Friday to pick up a new core system. I think I like the ideal of making sure come HALO 3 I have a system to use it on. Yes I know, thats a big price to pay for playing a video game, but in the long run, I'll have two systems, and one as a backup is a good thing.
