Fun game so far

Started playing Dirt on Sunday. Once I got the handle on the first race, I had a lot of fun with it. Lots of different cars and race types. If you use the racing wheel, it is pretty amazing. On the hill climb and rally races you really feel every stone and gravel on the course. But, like forza, this game is meant to tune your cars. I am struggling enough with tuning in forza, not sure if I want to put much effort into tuning in Dirt.

I really enjoyed the demo, but haven't played much of the full game because not many of my friends have it. Maybe we can hook up for a few races sometime soon?

I'd also like to get together for some NASCAR laps. You, Green Guy, Desto & I have it...we should give it a go

Yeah we should try to schedule a private race sometime.

How about after tomorrows endurance race? If that's too late, hows 5:00 PST on Wednesday sound?

Tommrow night is good for me, at least I think. I have summer reading to do, and I get my schedule tommrow, so let's hope that english is in the spring semester, and not the fall!

I might be up for it after the endurance race. I may even be able to make the endurance race, not sure if the boss and I are going to get out after all, but will not be out too late. Gotta work in the morning after all.

Might be fun to do the DiRT some time soon also.

oh, and I put NASCAR 08 in for just a couple of minutes tonight, sure felt like I was driving a brick. LOL

Ya...it is a little harder to control then forza. In fact, mine seems to pull left a little, but I think its suppose to be that way?

As for our endurance race, we'll be running "25 laps in R2 at Sunset Peninsula". You'll need to pit at least once, so be sure to familiarize yourself with the pit entrance. I'll set the room up at approximately 5:00 PM PST

Yes, I noticed the pulling to left as I was running in the grass, but once you get in the turn, makes it much easier to keep it off the wall. Still, a very strange feel to it, and more tuning to learn.
