I am not getting anything working with a C class car, at best 4 seconds off the times posted by the racers here. Gonna get smoked this week.

Fred, if we are on at the same time I will give you my set-up...or at least set up a car that you like to run. I dont mind sharing set-up. I have sold set ups to people I dont know, but I will try to hook you up like a crack dealer...psst..hey kid...c'mer, first ones on the house. lol

Don't feel bad. I usually lose my ass to these guys in the lower classes.

I especially suck in D class.

Following Driver's question to you, have you tried different cars? I think I know where he's headed.

Why that is very cool of you ya silverfox. As far as cars I have tried, Elise 135 and Peugot(?) 206 of course. Tried bumping my D class VW up to C class, really good car, but still not fast enough. Tried the Ford focus and Honda Civic. PT Cruiser(don't laugh, had one of my best times at laguna) Hyundai. Looking to try a Sentra, and maybe one of the new DLC cars. The Elise handled like a dream, thought I might go back and change some of my upgrades to more power and less handling.

I am hoping that D class is not going to be the only thing I am competitive in. I know there are some really good racers here, and I just want to be competitive with them. My racing skills are improving, but have a ways to go.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Fred we are on the same time zone and I will be on this evening roun 7 est look for me. We can run our next series tracks together and find a couple cars that are good for you. Sometimes IMO car choice can come down to driving style this can also very much apply when we set up a car as well. I tend to be very aggresive through corners so I set up to suite that style. Look for me on forza.

Driver99, I have tried a Mini Cooper as well. I have a couple of great little setups. I will revisit them as well.

Of course, it could be the driver and not the car that is holding us back here.
