My thinking is and has always been: if it's part of the game and everyone can utilize it with out a special button sequence or by doing something that was obviously not intended as part of the game, it's ok. It seems like with most games theirs one gun or car or something that is outstanding in comparison with the others. I own that car. It's PI is 999 class U. I think the car sucks without front and read bumpers + a wing. Who in their right mind would attempt to drive it 10 laps much less 25 on any track? It's like the A class Stingray. It probablly fits into the same "glitch" catagory. Did anyone see one racing last night? On Suzuka West, the track it dominates in hot lap rankings. The answer is NO. Because nobody in their right mind would attempt to drive it with any intention on winning. I say if it's part of the game, it should be allowed. Otherwise, what's the reason to try and pick a dominate car? Someone will cry and call you a glitcher.

I just wouldn't want to use anything that will remove all of my times again. Let's say Turn 10 decides that car is a glitch. Anyone who used it even for one race may lose all there scoreboard times again. Just like the Manual Transmission glitch. That was the only reason I lost all my times. But I did't know about a glitch, I just used the manual once for my Acheivement points before 08/27/07. In looking at the whole Tuesday series as a way to get better times on tracks, it would be a shame to lose it all for one glitch again. But then again, that means we would have another Tuesday series to make up for all the lost times. IMO.

After browsing the scoreboards today, I see why this thread even exists. With this being said, I think someone needs to make a descision about this issue before someone shows up Tues. night with one and a few hours of their time tuning this car is thrown away. If I went to the trouble to tune this car and someone cried about it Tues. night, I KNOW I'd be pissed. I've said my piece on where I stand about this issue and reading above it looks like there's more than just me that feels this way. I think those who are "in control" of the direction this series is going need to make a call NOW before someone wastes their time and it becomes a petty BS pissing contest Tues. night.

I have tried to set the GT40 up the way it is on the scoreboard. IF you can run that thing for 25lps more power to you! I do NOT think it is a glitch car. Some cars actually add PI with the front bumper and some cars only add a PI or 2 with race power upgrades. This car is super fast and handles like shit not unlike the Strigray and Charger types of cars in the game. Again, I do NOT have a problem with you running this car. If you should choose to do so then good luck keeping it on the track and I am glad collisions are off. I honostly think I could beat any off those GT40 missiles over 25lps whith an S Class Mini Cooper!

I say no to glitch cars. I'd like to think no one here would exploit a programming error just to win a tournament race.
