Ladder Race?

I was wondering what kind of interest we have in a ladder race (like we did in PGR3). If memory serves me right, everyone starts with a "Stock D Class" car and races 2 dirty laps. The last 1 or 2 players to cross the finish line moves up to a "Stock C Class" car...and so on. The player in the lowest class car at the end of the night wins.

If someone has a better idea, that's fine with me...I'm just looking to fill dead air until our next series begins.

So what do you think?

Yep...I remember laughing my ass off in PGR3!

As for when, I was thinking about filling the "Tuesday" night slot with it until our next series begins. Weekends are tough for me right now, but I'm flexible during the week.

I like that Idea!
But instead of using D class cars, what about using S-U class cars and up? If there are just 8 of us in a room it will move fast. Plus it gives everyone a better chance to catch up and get revenge so whoever is in front doesn't have the run of the field while everyone else is battling just for 2nd.

What do you think?

Hum...I'm not sure you understand the game?

Here's the way it usually works:

• Race 1. We all start in Class D and run 2 quick laps...anything goes.
• Race 2. The last 2 players move up to Class C. Everyone else remains in Class D and we all run 2 more laps...anything goes.
• Race 3. The last 2 players move up a Class. Everyone else remains in whatever Class they were in and we all run 2 more laps...anything goes.

What you end up with is a lot of banging and blocking to keep from having to move up a class. It's usually funny as hell. Especially if you're able to hold someone off that's in a Class or 2 above you. At any rate, the winner is the one in the lowest Class car. So if everyone else is driving R1's and you're still in R4...you win!

I am up for this! I loved to do this in PGR3 because I keep stay at D class car while everybody else was at C class!!

I am definitely interested, but I can't do it on Tuesdays that early as I don't get off until 6pm pst. Takes me about 15 minutes to get home. But I have Friday-Sunday off. If it can't be at those times then that's fine.
