R1 Motegi SS Race

A few of us have been dabbling around with the R1 class cars on Motegi SS. The drafting is amazing! I was considering hosting up a 50 lap event. My car is fast but my tires are weak. Ask Piggy. He t-boned me in the last turn of a 25 lap race I had been leading the whole race because my tires went away. I think with a good pit stradegy and a good drafting partner, this would be a cool thing to do. Settings would be: Any R-1 car, Damage off, collisions on, tires & fuel on simulation, 50 laps, pitting is optional (haha good luck). Anyone in?

I'm in. I loved racing that. Because you can slingshot like a mother! I vote for a weeknight like Tuesday but I enjoyed the Sunday night races as well. Tree your making up some good Nascar style racing.

Been awhile since I have even been on the box, but if this is something that is after 6pm on Mon-Thur or anytime on a Fri-Sun, then I am in. (except Sun 10:30-1pm as I am in church then)

Ok, I guess since Rainbow is going to be taking most of my gaming time starting Wednesday I'll do it Tuesday night at 8pm. I'm torn between 50 or 75 laps. Calculating using my fast lap time 50 laps would be 23.8 minutes and 75 would be 35.75 minutes. With 75 laps I'd have to have at least 2 pit stops maybe 3. It may be possible for me to run 50 laps with just 1 pit. I know Piggy could go 50 with just 1 pit. I'll decide after seeing the feedback. Sign-up on the calendar. more than 8 is ok since last race a few didn't show.
