Fred and Wobbly, I sent you guys another car...nothing special, I was just bored so I tuned and painted B-700 Fairlady. Wobbly, I have a much improved tune for that Mustang. I managed to get nearly all the spin out of the rear on accel. You still have to be wary in your throttle control but now you can get on the fuel much harder and sooner than before. I appreciate you guys helping me out with this, be patient as I am getting better and think there will be some real good cars to come out of this. I have the Saturn sky pretty much done as well. Put at 117th as far as times on Motegi east.

Thanks for the car. Got a chance to run the scubi. Man it is fast. Not sure if it is my dirving and braking, or lack of, but seems to have some pushing going into turns. But mostly handles very well. I ran maple valley, short and long, as well as Motegi(?) east. I did not set any blazing times with it, but I usually don't...lol. Ran the Fairlady as well, it is a little loose, but like it as well. Good paint on it also. I want to try that Sky. Maybe I can hook up with you on Sunday, before or after the race.

Thats exactly why I needed some other folks to drive these cars...I wondered if the scubi pushed a bit too but wasnt sure if I just go into corners too damn hot! I will look for today on the box and in the mean time I will tighten the front a bit and see what hapens.

LOL, I can never figure out if a car pushes to much, or I try to take the corner to fast. I guess it is just a gut feeling.

Thumbs up Re: Car tester

Ok, I ran another 20 laps around Laguna Seca today with your new setup. It's defiantly an improvement...handles great! The rear sticks a lot better, although we did loose a little in the front...I can't imagine the overall package working much better. That said, the gearing is off a little bit in my opinion for Luguna Seca, yet I still picked up over 1/2 a second. Old setup (1:32.676) New setup (1:32.072). I'm pretty sure I'd be in the mid to high 1:31's with a small final drive tweak. Not to mention the new paint job made me feel like Peter Fonda (Easy Rider)...nice work!

Sorry about not getting to this sooner Silver, but I've been dealing with a COD4 addiction.

Hey Silver, not sure if you got my message yesterday. Took the Sentra out to Mugello short. Think it needs some fine tuning. Got a little push on the fast turns, though not bad. Could get it a little loose as well, but I think that was more me getting use to the car and braking a little funny. But on the 5th lap I ran a 59.141(or something very close.). That put me at 361 on the leaderboard. I think that was pretty good, and I believe I could definitely break in to 58.xx with a little more running of it. I think you are going to have a very competative car with that. Get a better driver behind the wheel and I bet you could get a top 100 time with the current set up.

OMG. Now I feel old. I got the peter Fonda reference right off. Then I thought, most the people on XBL don't have a clue as to what you are speaking of! Damn, I'm old!

Yep...probably not. The average age of our members is (37), so most of them were just babies when the movie was released.
