Its not a real race with Collisions off!!! What kind of race is it if you can drive through each others car & don't have to try to take another line because someone is using yours. If you can just drive through them, its like having sex with your clothes on! Whats the point. I am not trying to pick on you about the race series, but I feel that with out the collisions on it is just like driving by yourself. Having to look for a better line and make a clean pass with out wrecking someone or self is one of the true spirits of racing. Granted this is not Nascar, or any other racing league by no means. But lets try to make it some what realistic since you are going to run with damage on, you might as well have collisions too. Granted people will get upset if and when they get hit, but isn't that part of racing? There may be those that get bent out of shape about their car getting wrecked but it is just a video game after all and you don't have to pay to get your car back to new. These are just my thoughts after all, and by no means am I trying to put down the series. I appreciate that you are putting together another series and taking the time to run it. I just would like to see collisions on.

It is something that I considered, but the only problem I see is lag issues. I could be driving clean on my screen but be taking you out on your screen. I wouldn't mind running in a series with collisions on even with the lag issue, so if you want to organize one and get it going I would be happy to join if the day and time works, but for this series with the cars being so touchy to control at high speeds I figured it would still be pretty darn exciting to run it the way I set it up. The way I see it, anyone has the option to set up a series how they would like it and then post and see who would like to join in. That is why it is all R1, because I like those (and now with the Ferrari F50 GT the U Class) the best. Which after Fred gets his series done, then I was considering setting up a U Class series with collisions on if no one else takes on the set up and running of a series. Hopefully others will decide to set some up they way they want it run so we can have some variety and relaxation from organizing a series.

It's not a race if you can drive through someone you might as well race for times. That just how I feel I guess I wont be joining then ...

All is good. That is why we all have an option to set up a tournament to our liking. It wouldn't even bother me if you set one up now that is on a different day set up the way you want.

To me, it still is racing. I know for sure that I push myself a little harder when others are on the track with me. This opens it up for more chances of mistakes being made. True, a more "true" racing would be with collisions on, but why stop there? Turn off all of the assists too. Like I said, I will have fun either way because for me it is more about getting together for laughs and time with friends than about the race anyways.

I guess I could look at it even with collisions on that more than likely Silverfox and Locke are going to kick our butts, so why even try? Well, because regardless of any situations that arise, I still enjoy spending time with them. Heck, I got a real good laugh when Locke was kicking butt and then ran out of gas on the last lap! Fun times to me.

So hopefully I will catch you in the next series or a series that the organizer does choose to have collisions in because in all honesty I enjoyed racing with you last time.

It doesn't matter to me either way, but we've had votes in the past for collisions on or off & off has always won. I think you should give it a try Piggy. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

I'm with piggy only on the fact that if Silver and Locke get so far ahead that they are ready to lap us, they would actually have to pick and choose a path with collisions on. But I have had fun with the past series with them off. Just feel that drafting is part of racing. Catching the draft to pass and make it clean? That's fun. Also when I voted for 7pm Friday, I thought it was EST. Forgot your on the west coast. So if I can make it it's 11pm EST. I think. So for now I will have to be on the sidelines. You guys know me I love racing, just this series I might not make it. Or just one or two races, if I can, just to join in. That's my .02.

1) It wouldn't be as fun without piggy's paint on my car.
2) 7pm pst= 10pm est- a little late for me to be starting something.
3) Week 10: Nuburgring, 7 laps- I have no desire to do this.
