Good Idea as I kind of feel a current of more going on than just the fact that there are no collisons in this tournament (like every other one we have had without so much negative feedback about it.) I could go for this, but I would at some point like to race at least 3 races with East Coasters as to me the main idea of this is just to get together. So if you want to set a tournament for the East coasters and keep track of scores and such that tie into the tournament I am trying to get going, then I am fine with that. Or for that matter set up and mange your own tournament, then I am fine with that. But to totally have two things going East and West coast kind of defeats the whole purpose of the tournament in the first place. The reason I would like to run the rooms at the same time though is because it makes it much easier to keep track of and post results in a timely manner. I honestly don't want to have to rely on someone else to send me the results "sometime " when they get around to it.
As far as 7pm pst, that is not in stone, we can make adjustments. That was the purpose of the poll for time and day, to see what most preferred and what would work for most.
As far as the 7 laps at Nurburgring that could be adjusted to fewer laps, but I would prefer to have it run for at least a 45 minute race like the rest of them.
Also as every tournament we have run without as much objection to it be with no collisions and interest is lacking in this one the way it is set up then I welcome anyone to set up and manage a tournament to fit what they want and I will gladly step aside and withdraw this one so as not to have two at once going. I was just trying to get something going to get us together again as that was my intent in setting this up in the first place.
If one of you want to set one up I will join it if the time and day fits my schedule and probably have just as much or more fun than having the responsibility of keeping things up to date.
To be honest I feel kind of disappointed that no day or time has been set, no one else stepped up to the plate to get something going, the tournament hasn't even started, yet people that had no problem running in tournaments without collisions are already saying they want something different than what I took the time to set up and offer. PLEASE if you don't like what is being offered then you have every opportunity to set up and manage one to your liking.
As far as this tournament goes it will be run without collisions. Time and date adjustments and number of laps on Nurburging is still being ironed out. If not enough people are interested in it as is, then I have no problem withdrawing it. And I will just wait until someone else decides to step up to the plate.
All other rules are as is. Once again, PLEASE if you don't like, then I suggest one of two things.
1. Take the time and effort to set-up, present and manage a tournament to your liking. No one is stopping you.
2. Simply don't join it if you don't want to put the time and energy to set up and mange your own tournament.
Thank you.
