New Series Ideas
Well, as the old series is coming to a close I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread to see what you guys want in the next one.
Ideas I have heard or come up with so far
1. Just like last one. Endurance races. But for me I would like to have at least half of them on the less raced tracks.
2. Have a series of 10 lap (or whatever you want) Like 3 ten lappers on different tracks in one night. Scoring for each. I feel this may make it possible to play catch up if you all behind in the points.
3. Classes change (go up) each week like last one.
4. One I like, go for an "R" class series. Or any single class, all the way through.
5. One Wobbly reminded me of, bonus point(s) for fastest lap.
6. Just for humor. A "hot potato" car and a "Dud Spud" car for the one who ran the best race, not nessasarily the winner, but someone who is voted by the rest in the race that say, come from behind the most. Ran the cleanest race, or totally dominated from start to finish, etc. Maybe this car could be the Mercedes or whatever GLC? Unlimited. The dud spud, kinda like the "Boob prize" car that was passed around, errr.....basically given to Looon for stupid mistakes, like dominating race only to crash into a wall towards the end, or blowing engine with wrong downshift etc. I guess what we really need to do here is find out what car Loon wants in his garage out of the D-class lol.
7. Races against other sites vs inter site races.
8. Two man teams?
9. Any other ideas you guys come up with.
So, post your thoughts, what ideas you like and don't like etc so I can start the planning stages of the next series.

Re: New Series Ideas
Some good ideas Fox, I like the fastest lap bonus and honorable mention ideas, very creative! Two man teams is a good idea too. I'm not keen on running the same car class(ie: R1) for the whole tourney though since I'm a big fan of the slower cars running nice clean lines type of racing too. I do like the idea of occasionally picking a specific car (to see who can tune it the best) and running a couple of those mixed into the Potatoe Grand Prix.

Re: New Series Ideas
I'm with the rest of them, all good ideas. Though I got into late, I like the series that is ending. But would like racing non R class as well. Maybe pick a car for the coming week, tune it to a certain class, but let the racers have freedom of how to get it to that class/pi.
Course speaking of the potatoe car, I was going to ask Green Guy, the resident graphics guru, if he could design a couch potato livery. Not trying to start a team, but would be cool to run it when running both within the group and against non potatoes. Could advertise this site even.
Another question, very much off topic: "Livery" where the heck did this term come from and what exactly does it mean? Wobbly and I were running a little tonight and he asked the question. Also is it pronounced livery like alive or livery like liver(the food)?
Any how, need to get in bed, but look forward to your series Greyfox. 8)
