Default Army of Two

Is anyone here planning on getting Army of Two? You will be able to play co-op campaign either split screen or with a partner on live. You can also play multiplayer (2v2) with a partner over live or with a partner on split screens (like Halo).

When playing with an AI partner, you are able to issue commands via the D-Pad or by using your mic.

If you reserve this game ahead of time at GameStop/EB Games they give you a code to unlock two exclusive weapons, a sniper grenade rifle (what?) and a high-capacity SMG.

The campaign isn't the bad to tell you the truth, it's just really really short. I beat the game on the hardest difficulty in about 3 hours. The multiplayer is complete trash though. There are only 4 levels and sometimes you wont even get paired with your friend. Then when you do get into a game you lag because the EA server gave the host to some kid with a garbage line.

I called Gamestop and they will only give me $30 bucks...2 freaking days old.

It's definitely worth you and your buddy renting it and playing through it once over. You can play through it on harder difficulties and upgrade your weapons further, but after beating it once, you won't find much incentive to do so, aside from trying out a few cool weapons you didn't have the money to buy your first time through.

The competitive multiplayer is interesting, but it's only worth a couple rounds before you're done with it. Overall, the game just doesn't have all that much staying power. It's one of the best co-op experiences out there, for the 3-4 hours it lasts. Worth a rent, not worth a purchase. I'll be trading mine in when Vegas 2 is released.
