was just curious. I played it, and have recently been trying to play it again. But if I try to go online, I just get shot. Most of the time I never even see the first player. Hoping somebody here is as much as new to online as I am, so we could practice and learn the maps. Can't really learn much if your shot by an unseen assailant with in the first minute of every game.

I have it, but rarely play it. Maybe we can get some sort of frag fest going one night a week. GOW, GRAW, RB6, Far Cry, COD, Halo...whatever. Possibly schedule a different game each week. Just a thought

This sounds like a good idea to me. And I DO REALLY suck at GOW. Haven't even come close to finishing the single player and I have know idea about the maps online. I am willing to give it a try but I do prefer in this order: RB6 Vegas (still haven't played the new maps that I downloaded, but would like to) Far Cry (even though I usually end up doing more bleeding than anyone else.) PDZ (another one I suck at) and even maybe we can trow in some GRAW and COD.

But yea, if you need someone who you have a good change of kicking the shit out of, then send me an invite lol

The Shadowrun gang was actually talking about getting together one night and firing up GoW as long as it's kept to friends and fun - most of us liked the game but never got into it because of the Halo 2-like arseholes.

I'll post the time and day here if you guys are interested - here and in the Awesome Possum clan forum at GeezerGamers.com. (forum link is also found at the clan site in my profile)

This all sounds good. I have just started fooling around with RB6 Vegas, but like it so far. Gears I loved, finish it on casual, about half way through on Hard Core. and hooked up with a friend I work with for a co op and took out the final dude on insane. that was tough. My buddy, this is all he plays now, and he agrees, lots of crazy buttholes playing. he only plays player matches now, no more ranked.

Anyway, I like Wobbly's idea of playing a shooter maybe on a weekly basis. I do not have all of those but the used game store is my friend.

Grey, believe me, you would have an equal chance with me online...lol

Is there a forum for Misc Shooters? Doc and I need to get you guys to play Shadowrun with the nice folks we play... LOTS of fun, and very different from anything you've probably played.

I'm also curious if there is a Misc Thread within each of the sections, like for RPGs and such. (Oblivion, Two Worlds, Mass Effect, etc...)

We can set up whatever forums you want/need. I'll take care of those three in a little while. Let me know if you think of any others.

That's cool - or you can just lump them all together. Geezer Gamers has "What to Buy Next", "Roleplaying Games", etc... that way you won't have hundreds of forums with only one or two threads in them. (though Xbox.com does that and it works if you have enough folks posting)
