Default Couldn't resist

Well, I couldn't resist. I figured I needed to get my camera replaced to I can start better documenting my stuff, so Costco - $1,399.99 After $100 Off Nikon D80 10.2MP 2.5" 18-135 & 70-300 VR Lens 3 Frames per Second

This is the one I ordered today. I am having it sent to my parents address, because UPS likes to leave packages on the front porch if no one is home.

My first replacement purchase. Now I need to wait for the check to get Computer, tv, and a 360 (in that order) Then will see. A lot depends on how much they are going to depreciate things. Things I replace are getting replacement cost, but I don't plan on replacing everything.

ADT is installing security system Teusday. Can't wait for that, still kindas of leary leaving the house unattended during the day.

Default Re: Couldn't resist

I had to start somewhere and beings I'm a photography nut, I figured that was a good place to start.

I just sent all the paperwork to the insurance company overnight yesterday. After doing the final tally it came to $16,549 for everything I could remember, including material cost for repalcing door. It will be interesting to see how cheap the insurance company tries to get by with. In fact, I have been going to bed early just to get rested up for that stage of the battle that I have a feeling is coming.

Wink Re: Couldn't resist

Well, hopefully they'll just write you a check. We've had a couple of claims over the years. Our roof blew off & a pipe broke and flooded our house. Both times they handled it really well. You might be surprised.
