Well, I got my initial check to start replacing stuff yesterday, so by this next weekend I should be back on live.
Thge games I plan on getting to start are: Call of Duty 4, RB6V2, Forza2 and GRID.

I am debating whether I want to get the 360 pro or 360 elite. I am leading towards the Elite simply because I don't want to worry about hard drive space.

It is sure hard to find the computer thoguh to replace the one that was stolen. The wifes will be simple as she doesn't have many requirments. But beings that I do a lot of photo and soon video editing the choice of mine is a little harder. For the price and features it looks like either the HP m9200t with tv/pvr or the HP Pavillion Elite d5000t ATX from Costco provides the best bang for the buck. Of course, these will not be taken as is, but with definate upgrades to bring it up to about $2,000 to $2,300 before that damn tax.

But at least now I can order the filters for my camera that I lost and get the wife's camera too.

For a TV I am definately going 52" LCD, either the Sony or the or one that Desto recomended as being the 2 best. Thanks for the info Desto.

I am kind of disappointed on how much I was reimbersed though. Out of a total loss of $16,546 they cut me a check for $9,975. But after I buy some items I will get additional checks. That is only about 60% to start of the total loss. They didn't send anything that showed how the arrived at that figure, but I will hopefully get something soon. I just don't see how stuff can depreciate 40% when most of it was less than 2 years old.

Well, now to go find that post with Desto's rec's and see what it is I am shopping for. I already looked earlier, but that was before a check arrived.

We looked at all the 52" LCD Fox, the best looking ones were the Sharp and Samsung.

Ok, just got back from shopping and here is what I got.

Samsung 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat Panel LCD Model # LN52A650
This won't be in for a week though (waaaaahhhhh)

Xbox 360 Elite. This came with Marvel Alliance and Forza2
Call of Duty 4 and R6V2 are the 2 games I picked up also.

PS3 bundle for the kids and wife. Yea, I know I was going to get the Wii but the wife wanted the blu-ray capabilities and the kids wanted a PS3 and didn't want a Wii. I still might get me one later though. The kids picked out Assassins Creed for their game.

Then I got my wife a HP Pavillion A64F computer with a 19" LCD monitor and an all-in-one printer in the bundle.

For her camera I got her a Kodak Easyshare z1012is camera that is 10 mp and has 12x optical zoom. Not sure of the digital zoom, bdcause I had her turn that off.

Yep, I'm all tingley right now lol I am really looking forward to get my tv in.

Now all I have to do is order my computer, a home theatre system and a few filters for my camera and I will be in hog heaven.

Well, got to go st up my 360 (on a damn regular tv for now ) and recover my gamertag and start dl all the dl content I had. So I will see you all soon.
