Default Any word on a new motoGP?

Anyone hear any chatter about a new MotoGP Game or has the series died a sad death?

I haven't heard anything, but then again "MotoGP 07" hasn't been out very long.

Ive got word for ya, Capcom. THQ recently lost the license to Capcom. They signed an exclusive 5 year contract on the MotoGP license. This year they will be releasing a game for Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii, PC, and mobile phones.

Ok, Could be good could be bad. Wouldn't you call capcom more an arcade game publisher? Do you think they will make improvements to the game and give it a rejuvenated life?

Wobbly, It '07 hasn't been out too long but it's been out long enough to start hearing about the nest one if there is going to be one. And, I don't see much action on "07 from here at least.

A good MotoGP might be the ticket to cause me to get the 360. Don't know.

I'm not sure why, but most of the people I game with haven't shown much interest in the last couple of versions. As for Capcom taking it over, I can't imagine them or anyone else doing a better job then THQ. I didn't purchase "MotoGP 07" because none of my friends were getting it, but "MotoGP 06" was awesome...great game!

True, but sometimes a series needs a new developer to bring some life back into it. I'm hoping for the best. The last few games did feel kind of stale ... like the Tony Hawk series.

Exactly! I'm hopeful for the heyday of the original MotoGP! Don't think it will ever get back to that point but it's fun to hope!

Ya, I had the same hope when MotoGP 06 hit the shelves...but very few of my friends wanted anything to do with the game. Too bad, as it was an awesome version. A lot like MotoGP 2 with much better graphics and the "extreme" bikes (arcade mode), like they had in MotoGP 3.
