Thumbs up Shoot 'em up

I have to say that this movie was filled with action from beginning to end. Very nice stunts and moves. It was more of a murder mystery then just an action movie. The deeper the movie goes the more you learn about the characters and the motivation they have. I am not one for gore. I like some but over the top is just not my cup of tea. So this one has some. It's not too much and done with taste so you understand the seriousness of the situation. It's not a movie for the kids, maybe not the wife. Mine thought it was very good, that shocked me. After watching the movie you will have a new love for carrots. I don't want to give to much of the movie away in this post so I will keep it vague. I have to say for action and quick thinking it gets 4 out of 5 stars. Plus with the addition that I purchased this rental from Xbox live makes it all the better to me. I am a fan of that service and have used it many times to date. The movie is well done, moves quickly and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Well I hope this helps and wasn't too boring for anyone.

I enjoyed Transporter.

Shoot 'Em Up, however, made it in to my top 10 worst movies of all time.

Thumbs down Re: Shoot 'em up

Good Lord Duf, that was about the silliest movie I've ever seen. Up until now "True Lies" held that honor with me, but this one takes the cake! I mean ya, if you're looking for an over-the-top, completely ridiculous, never going to happen movie...this one has it all. In fact, at times it was so freaking ridiculous I laughed my ass off in disbelief.

This movie was horrible, they obviously weren't going for realism. Like Wobbly said, we had some good laughs on a couple of the scenes.

WOW. Yeah I watched it again, and yes this was a bad bad movie. I guess the first time I watched it I was more into the action then anything. But the plot was ok, it just didn't make it there fast enough with enough substance. Sorry guys, Here to make up for it I would suggest Equilibrium. That is one of my top 10 movies of all time. That one will make up for everything.
My bad.
