If you've never dealt with this stuff I'm sure you'll find it hard to believe, but trust me...we deal with the medical system all the time and it's crap!
Quote:
Michael Moore sets his sights on the plight of the uninsured in this eye-opening, Oscar-nominated documentary. In the world's richest country, 45 million people have no health insurance, while HMOs grow in size and wealth. Moore also explores the widespread use of antidepressants and their possible link to violent behavior. With his trademark humor and confrontational style, Moore asks the difficult questions to get to the truth behind today's health care.
I'm sure our medical system is broken. The insurance companies are raping us. The problem I have with this little film is the man behind it. Michael Moore has spewed blatant lies and rubbish so much I refuse to even consider what he says.

You're clearly not the only person that wants to throw rocks at Michael Moore, but the problem I have is we don't know who's lying to us these days. Therefore I try to keep an open mind by listening to everyone and weeding out the bullshit myself.
My parents absolutely HATE Micheal Moore but they said this movie is an excellent representation about what is going on in the medical field. They are currently having major problems with my grandmother's medical insurance. I haven't watched it but it's on my list.
I'm probably going to watch this tonight while i'm working so i'll comment on it later.
It's a good presentation. If you really want to see some crazy stuff watch Zeitgeist! It talks about our "federal" american dollar and another view on terrorism. The Christians may want to skip the first 20mins though.
