I know this game has come a long way, but I've never been able to get interested in it. Something about gangs and cop killers that just doesn't work for me.

Gangs and cop killers was that other xbox game ... Saints Row. GTA, especially this one, is more like a Martin Scorcese movie. I completely understand what your saying, this trailer is just really exciting to see what can be done in a sand box game on this generations systems. I hope the keep it story driven and not senselessly violent. GTA is not Manhunt, you can do horrible things if you want to, but really thats the players decision. There isn't any missions where they deliberately tell you to shoot cops and old ladies.

I never liked the series either. I tried one way back, and thought: "what the fuck?!?!?!"

i'm going to get a ps3 for this game, and socom confrontation also! GTA series even from the begining have been one of the most innovative game franchises in history. Each one has ALWAYS been better than the last. With this said i do understand how people dislike due to the content but imo it's a video game and not reality. Thats why i play video games, to do things i can't do in reality.

GTA is awesome, I love how you can hop on and either do missions or if you don't have that much time to play just stash a few cars and earn some cash.
