Hum...not sure what was going on, but our site was down for over an hour this morning.

That's strange because I was on here in and out yesterday morning. I didn't even notice a problem.

In that case it might have been a west coast problem. You see our site actually lives on a Windows 2003 server in Florida.

We do have occasional database connection problems that I'm been working on with our host. When that happens you'll see a database error screen, which will usually go away as soon as you refresh your browser.

No seriously I didn't know that about this site. Makes sense though, if you experienced problems and I didn't.

Sorry about all the database errors. It's nothing that we have any control over. I've notified our host again and they've acknowledged the problem, so hopefully they'll figure out how to fix it.

Yep, did it to me while I was trying to post. Got it to post now. It gave me a database error at first though

Our site is hosted on a separate server (computer) and the connection between the computer hosting our database and the computer hosting our web site apparently hiccups from time-to-time. At that point our site crashes and I get an email each and every time someone tries to access or refresh a page. So during that short crash (just a few seconds) I received 27 emails, which I forwarded to our host. Sure hope they can fix it, as I really don't what to move to another hosting service.
