[Mutiny]

So who picked it up? I'm up to level 15/19 on portals and so far it's pretty good, it gets really tough. After the 19 levels you open up advanced levels I'm told. Team Fortress 2 is freaking awesome. I stayed up to 3:30 AM playing that sucker.

I really want to get it, but I haven't been playing much video games lately. I was probably going to wait and have my wife buy it for me for my b-day in a couple of months.

The game looks like it was created by Hanna-Barbera, but it also looks like a lot of fun. You can play one of several different rolls. Example: Heavy Gunner, Engineer, Spy, Sniper, etc... I was watching Mutiny play as an Engineer last night. He was guarding his teams base with some kind of mounted machine gun that he built. The gun would automatically fire when it detected an enemy member in the room. It seemed to be working great, when suddenly it was destroyed by a invisible spy. Mutiny chased him down, but the damage was already done. At that point he had to rebuild the gun. This is a process of banging on it with a wrench until it's complete, which takes several minutes...so his base was somewhat unprotected during that time.

Spy's can make themselves look like the other team, and this medic was healing the spy. In the computer version you can spray paint stuff on the walls, like what this spy did to the medic.

I think it's well worth the money. Im renting it right now. Im working my way through HL 2. Already did Episode 1 & 2.

Like COD4, the lag you experienced was probably the result of the games current popularity.

I have played TF2 everday since Christmas with no real lag issues. Are you checking you connection to the server before you join it?

I'm renting it at the moment. I'll give it another try tonight if anyone wants to show me the ropes so to speak.
