Wow, that's true! I never thought about it before. Hum...I guess that's why you can lay down in GRAW & Far Cry, but not Rainbow.

Correct. CQB (close quarters battle) is different than open ground warfare.

I see Snipers lay down all the time. I think if you are under attack or setting an ambush even in close quarters that you could get in a position that would include laying down.
