Ok, so the game has only been out for a week and we're already starting to see players that have somehow managed to earn incredibly high ranks...how? Well, I was wondering the same thing until earlier this evening when I entered a game with several of them. We were all in the lobby waiting for people to ready-up when another curious player asked them how they did it. I'm not sure exactly, as they didn't really elaborate...but they clearly said "boosting". Then I found the following video.

Yes, but that's not always an option for me because by the time I'm done doing what I do...all my friends are off to bed.

At any rate, this kind of crap is typical of Ubisoft. Just search YouTube.com for "Rainbow Six Glitch" and you'll see what I'm talking about. In fact, this version seems like it might have more then most.

You might recall the same thing going on in the first version. All you had to do put a rubber between your thumb-sticks, set the game to auto restart and go to bed. Within a few days you were miraculously promoted to Elite...nice work Ubi$oft!

This is the 4th R6 game in a row that has a major glitch to exploit to advance levels.

It's not the glitch that's the problem.

The problem is that Ubisoft NEVER fixes the glitches in the R6 games.

This shit started with R6 Lockdown, when they first introduced the PEC system for advancement.

I'm thinking the problem is more the result of no beta testing. Halo 3 & COD4 were both in beta for a few months to shake out the bugs.

Well I agree with u for the most part goblin, but I will say this. Everygame that has ever come out has some sort of glitch or something in it. Halo, COD4, RB6, GRAW and every single game I have played for xbox and playstation and wii.

I will say thought that those guys have way to much time on there hands to find that shit. Hell I have ranked up real fast on the solo player just because I have had to do the samething over and over because I suck and because I have it on the hardest setting. The first time I sat down to do the solo game and saw that you gain exp for online play I said to myself that it was going to be the way to level up faster than playing online.
