That's so cool! We can have a movie night! I can open a private party and we can watch one of the movies I've uploaded to my PS3! I've read else where that it can be displayed full frame/full screen on everyone's tv and will have full voice chat. I think thats pretty cool.

I hope it address some other issues with Sony. But does seem cool. But not so sure about having my avatar walking around trying to meet other avatars..lol.

But was playing CoD4 with some TOP guys late yesterday. We were talking about Home a bit. One thing they were talking about is making like a frat house for TOP. Everyone could have a room there. Sounds sort of corny, but really cool at the same time. We could create a Potato house for the Sony potatoes

The thing is, sure there is a massive community with avatars everywhere. But i'm about 100% sure its going to boot with your avatar in your house. From there you will easily be able to see which friends of yours are online. Think of it like your avatar standing in his living room then his cell phone rings. Its wobbly goblin who wants to play CoD4 cause he just can't get enough of that game. You agree and invite hime over. He's there super quick, in the mean time you check your cell phone to see who else you can call and invite to play CoD4. If none of your friends are online you can jump into the community and make new friends.

Now if just boot the game and avoid home I'm sure it will handle things like most other online games do. Create room, invite friends, quick match what ever.

latest reports puts the Home beta release will late fall 2008 at earliest. Sony seems to be having problems coming up with a good working beta release.

If it is going to take more time, wish they would go ahead and address their messaging and communication issues with in the current structure.

They've had a number of updates lately, but no noticeable changes...God only knows what they're up too?
