Yeah I opted to not use the six axis control scheme until I figured out the basics first. There aren't many hover craft games out there so its like learning to ride a motorcycle versus a bicycle. It feels familiar, but its definately a little different.

So did you get things worked out with Warhawk Wobbly? Maybe we could get together with the other PS3 guys that have Warhawk, create a small room to try to learn the controls better.

Let me know if anyone is interested and when.

The problem I'm having is there's no single player mode to learn the controls...it throws you right in the fire.

Yep! I did a little reading while you, Shwiger & Mutiny were playing COD4. Here's what happened. I was prompted to update the game before I ever played it, but that didn't work, so I deleted the data files, re-installed the game, launched it...and then installed the update. Works great!

I can play today after 5:00 PST.

Ok...here's what I've learned. If you setup a private game with a minimum of 1 player you can practice without people shooting at you. Works great!

I'll be on later this afternoon.

Yep, Motorstorm is defiantly a great looking off-road racer, but I've been watching Mutiny play Warhawk for the last couple of hours and it's freaking amazing! 32 players and no apparent lag. You've got tanks, jeeps, anti-aircraft guns, surface to air missiles & airplanes. On top of that the game looks beautiful. There is a bit of a learning curve, but this is a must have for anyone with a PS3!
