On an impulse I decided to download Warhawk over the PSN (PlayStation Network) for the discounted price of $39.99

Let me know how that is. The trailers made it look fun, I was thinking of getting it as well.

But, looks like it is online play only, minimum of 2 people, which seems strange. But let us know.

FUN! Really Fun!! It reminds me a lot of playing battlefield on my PC. At first the control is a little weird, how often do you fly a hover jet? but once you figure out how to hover or free fly (Triangle button) its great! The combat on foot, land vehicles and air is the most balanced system I've ever seen. A warhawk cannot point and shoot at a lone soldier on the ground and kill him as easy as it can take out another plane due to things like relative size and machine accuracy vs missle accuracy. Its a good game. Having owned a usb headset I downloaded it from the network. No regrets, its not a big file, less than a gig but the graphics are amazing. Its like Crimson Skies from the original xbox, only much more of everything. There are plenty of users, always people online and some rooms as big as 32 people. Try a practice room first to learn the game mechanics then play regular matches to earn unlockable content. Its not the greatest game I've ever played, but its a damn fine multiplayer game for my PS3.

Got the game Green Guy. Really fun. Wish there was some single player stuff to do to try to learn it. I did create a private room to try to learn some controls. When live, death match. 24 people all running in different directions killing the hell out of anything that move. It was a blast, though like RB6, I am dead a lot. So many different weapons to choose from. Maybe we can hook up sometime and try some teamwork.

Got it, and added you. Actually play a little today, think I killed a couple of people. Took the plane up, love the way it flys, arcade like, don't have to know jack about flying. Shot at a lot of things, but ended up ramming another jet for my kill...
